GWS Academy
The GWS Academy is a dedicated training center established in 2021 to support the growing demand for skilled wind turbine technicians. Initially created to train Global Wind Service technicians according to our internal standards, safety culture, and operational excellence, the Academy ensured that every technician was prepared for project conditions from day one.
Following its success, the GWS Academy expanded its offering, and after two years opened its doors to external participants, providing the same high-quality training to technicians across the industry.
Our mission is to deliver industry-relevant training aligned with real working conditions, ensuring technicians are prepared for the challenges of onshore and offshore wind projects.
As part of our commitment to the wind industry, we actively contribute to the development, upskilling, and long-term sustainability of a competent global workforce.

Global set-up via our base in Poland
The GWS Academy is based in Dobra, Poland, where we run a variety of technical trainings. While Poland remains our central training hub, we also offer fully equipped mobile training solutions, allowing us to deliver certified courses directly at project sites across the globe.
This flexible setup is rooted in our belief that conducting training close to work environments provides safer, more relevant, and more efficient learning.
It also reduces travel time, minimizes downtime for technicians, and helps lower our carbon footprint.
