Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for a team-player who wants to join the GWS in Poland to face the invoices, bills, scales and other challenges of finances, on the position of a Senior Accountant. You will work under limited supervision, cooperate with team of professionals and take responsibility for Your work.

Your responsibilities

  • Ownership of assigned accounting processes and ensure accurate and timely execution of daily accounting activities

  • Support and lead month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and AP/AR analysis

  • Collaborate with finance team members and business stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes

  • Support and guide less experienced colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices

  • Identify and drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives

  • Participate in finance projects, system implementations, and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance

  • Solid accounting knowledge gained through education and professional experience

  • Good understanding of accounting processes (AP, AR or GL)

  • Experience in working with ERP accounting systems

  • Advanced MS Excel skills

  • Good English communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned processes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements

  • Ability to support and guide less experienced team members

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to build positive working relationships across the organization
